Self-Love Recovery Retreat
Conquering Self-Love Deficit Disorder™
Curriculum by Ross Rosenberg, M.Ed, LCPC, CADC, CSAT
At SLRI's Self-Love Recovery retreat, expect a life-changing weekend during which the origins of your Self-Love Deficit Disorder™/SLDD (codependency) will be explored and identified.
For more information about the retreat, Click HERE.
To maintain the integrity of the retreat experience, registration is limited to 10 participants. Participants must be older than 25 years of age.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is available on: December 6-8, 2019, in Skokie, Illinois.
COST OF THE RETREAT
Cost of the Retreat is $2,000 paid in two installments: $1,000 at the time of registration and the remaining $1,000 immediately following the placement interview.
The initial $1,000 retainer fee will be refunded in full if SLRI staff determine that the retreat’s objectives and the participant’s needs are not well-matched. A refund will be credited to a confirmed participant if the cancellation is requested more than 30 days prior to the retreat start date, less a $100 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be given with less than 30 days advanced request. Matched participants who cancel will only receive a refund if the cancellation is more than 30 days before the retreat start date, less a $100 cancellation fee.
A 50% retainer is required to guarantee an interview reservation. Carolina Guzmán, Self-Love Recovery Institute’s Director of Operations, will be conducting personal and private interviews. If the retreat is appropriate for your needs, the remaining balance will be due upon interview completion.
Although this may seem intrusive, SLRI’s Self-Love Recovery retreat is not for everyone. The personal and confidential Zoom interview will help both SLRI and the interested participant agree that the retreat is a good match. For the retreat to have the intended impact/effect, SLRI needs to assure that all participants share common personal, emotional, and relational challenges, and that the retreat environment is without unnecessary distractions.
Upon payment and registration, Carolina Guzmán, SLRI Director of Operations will contact the registrant to schedule a 15 – 30 minute interview.
Although there are no risks inherent to the retreat, each participant is required to sign and return the Self-Love Recovery Retreat Agreement form when the final payment is made. Entry to the retreat will be denied without a previously signed waiver. No refunds will be issued without immediate communication of the intent not to participate/sign.

Attending the Self-Love Recovery Retreat was one of my best-ever decisions! It was very nicely organized, and the small group size created a feeling of kinship and safety, enabling comfortable sharing and discussion. Ross is personable and approachable; his talks are sprinkled with humor and he has the gift of knowing how to present his work in a way that makes a deep, multi-layered topic easy to understand. Go!

I attended the Self-Love Recovery Retreat from September 14th, 2018 through September 16th, my story began as a child who was molested at the age of 4 and have lived in fears all of my life. This retreat is a new beginning. I came out of this experience transformed. We were a small group of nine. By the end of the weekend, every one probably knew me better than my family, friends, anyone.
The deeper I went into my pain, the higher I was raised in courage. I turned my pain into something beautiful, turning it into nectar, Ross is not only a great therapist but also a kind human being and healer. David and Karla along with Ross played an important role in my healing as well.
This retreat was an adventure into unknown. However, it was not isolated. It was an invitation to open myself to gifts and growth. It took me to very sweet people which I met during retreat and to new places. Universe is conspiring to support you if you are interested in attending this retreat. Life became an adventure for me once I embraced the beauty inside me. I could not have done this without Ross and his team.

WHY NOT YOU Change happens now. Why not you?! Struggle = strength and you are capable of more than you know. Commit to the most loving thing you will ever do for yourself and attend this retreat. It does no good to please others if you are losing yourself. This is YOUR JOURNEY! Elevate your mindset and don't be afraid. Fight the fear and become comfortable being uncomfortable. I felt safe to speak my truth and have this new amazing group of individuals to continue helping me and to be my accountability partners in life. I could not be more grateful for this entire experience! Why not make it through everything you've been through and become the greatest you mentally, spiritually and physically. Do not settle and stop accepting the pain. Don't let anything stop you from being the greatest you. We are beautifully broken and can make the greatest impact on this thing we call life. We are strong! Believe in you, invest in you and lift others up to do the same.

I have been profoundly impacted by the work of Ross Rosenberg and his practical insights about narcissists and codependency (or self-love deficit disorder). I wasn't sure how this event would be and if it would be worth the money. The retreat was both informational and experiential and it clearly gave me next steps in my journey to heal from codependence. This was one of the best events I have ever been to and I highly recommend anyone dealing with codependence to go. Codependence can be healed so that a person doesn't stay stuck in making the same choices and thinking the same way they always have. I figure if I live another 35-40 years, I will be able to live better, be happier, and make better choices. This is one of the best investments I have ever made!
