The Codependency Cure™: Recovering from SLDD™ (5.5 Hours)

The Codependency Cure seminar is the follow-up to Rosenberg’s Human Magnet Syndrome work, delving deeper into codependency, its trauma and core shame origins. This seminar represents the most modern and scientifically up-to-date thinking about codependency.  "Codependency,” is re-defined and re-conceptualized into “Self-Love Deficit Disorder (SLDD)™," which is a trauma, core shame, pathological loneliness, and addiction disorder.

Not only will this seminar provide information about how to resolve a person’s life-time battle with codependency/SLDD, but it will also facilitate hope and optimism for both the codependent/SLD, and/or trauma practitioner, or the person struggling with these conditions. Whether a professional or not, the seminar promises to be an engaging, entertaining, and informative experience.

The Human Magnet Syndrome (5.5 Hours)

Rosenberg’s Human Magnet Syndrome training has been given in 30 States/70 cities (and overseas).

This seminar is about the invisible but powerful magnetic-like attraction force that reflexively pulls oppositely “charged” codependents and narcissists into a relationship trance that begins like a dream, but quickly disintegrates into a maddening nightmare. Patient and sacrificing codependents only know how to “dance” with a person whose personality type is opposite but highly compatible to theirs. Similarly, selfish and self-absorbed narcissists are born to dance with codependents, whose personality type fits their own - like hand in glove. Despite the explosion of relationship chemistry, this compatible “opposite relationship” is destined to disintegrate into a painful “seesaw” of love, pain, hope and disappointment. Invariably, the “soulmate “of the codependent’s dreams inevitably and predictably becomes the “cellmate” of their nightmares.

This seminar parallels Rosenberg’s book, The Human Magnet Syndrome: The Codependent Narcissist Trap (2018). This training, like the book, contains cutting edge information on gaslighting, narcissistic abuse syndrome, case studies and personal examples of codependency recovery.

Whether a professional or not, this training will rock your world and surely change your ideas about yourself, others and what you know about codependency and narcissism.

The 10 Stage Self-Love Recovery™ Treatment Program (5.5 Hours)

The seminar audience will come to understand the inner workings of a treatment strategy and techniques that were specifically developed for Self-Love Deficit Disorder (SLDD)™ - Rosenberg’s replacement term for codependency. Each stage represents a linear and sequential element of a treatment process (method) that can eradicate SLDD (codependency) while opening up a healing and restorative pathway to “Self-Love Abundance,” otherwise known as the “Codependency Cure™.”

Healing the Inner Trauma Child (HITCH) Technique (6 Hours)

The Healing the Inner Trauma Child Technique (HITCH) provides trauma resolution/integration that is effective with PTSD, CPTSD, Attachment Trauma, and other Dissociative Disorders. It was originally created/designed for the treatment of Self Love Deficit Disorder (SLDD)– the updated term for “codependency."

By understanding the root causes of Self Love Deficit Disorder/SLDD, and the treatment technique that resolves it, mental health practitioners and the general public will finally have access to what Rosenberg calls his “Codependency Cure™.” Expect a discussion of SLDD’s multiple layers and how they are integrated with the underlying attachment trauma cause. Because attachment trauma is disassociated from a conscious awareness, and most psychotherapists do not have the education or training on how to access it, HITCH gives a therapist the tools to go where most therapist have not been before.

In this seminar, you will learn about psychological trauma of all types, especially attachment trauma. Trauma severity factors, trauma memory subtypes, as well as how and why the brain processes and stores trauma will be presented. Rosenberg’s “Paleopsychotherapy” and his “Trauma Continuum” provides helpful new ways to conceptualize and treat trauma. Expect emotionally riveting case examples and video clips of Ross demonstrating HITCH.

“The Trauma Memory Triad” reconceptualizes how trauma is processed as it occurs, how the brain safely takes it “offline,” and how and why it is stored in an almost impossible to reach compartment in the brain. The Triad’s “Body Memories” explains how unresolved, untreated, and/or unintegrated trauma “leaks” through the “dissociative barrier,” causing psychogenic (real) medical disorders like Fibromyalgia, back and neck problems, and so many others.

Pathological Narcissists (6 hours)

The Pathological Narcissistic Disorders will be deconstructed, redefined and re-conceptualized in a manner that is clinically accurate, interesting, and useful. Rosenberg will present cutting-edge information on the Pathological Narcissistic Disorders, and how a psychotherapist, friend, husband or mother, can safely manage them.

The seminar will explain how and why Pathological Narcissists manipulate, control and dominate others, he will also provide solutions to narcissistic victim syndrome. In addition, he will demonstrate how to neutralize narcissistic abuse through the use of his Observe Don't Absorb Technique.

Escaping Narcissistic Abuse (5.5 Hours)

It empowers, educates, and guides embattled and often gaslit SLDs (codependents), so they can effectively set and keep boundaries while disengaging or terminating relationships with narcissists. You will learn about the manipulative and duplicitous strategies that narcissists use to easily render their victim-partners powerless.

Neutralizing a narcissist’s debilitating stealthy engagement strategies will be taught. The interactional mechanics and consequences of placing boundaries on narcissists will be presented. Mastering this stage is analogous to becoming skilled at a “psychological chess game.” Predicting a narcissist’s “moves” helps the SLD escape narcissistic abuse.

Expect to learn the predictable manipulation, mind control, and power and control dynamics that narcissists use to entrap their victims. Without this proactive, educational, and supportive treatment stage, failure, relapse, and/or psychological harm will predictably befall the SLD. Mastery of the Observe, Don’t Absorb (ODA) Technique enables SLDs to safely emotionally disconnect from the toxic “wrestling match” that the narcissist will do almost anything to keep them engaged in.

As a direct result of the lessons learned in the previous stage, SLDs are sufficiently prepared for the potentially harmful and dangerous reactions of the angered and more than likely agitated and dangerous narcissist. Since being “forewarned is forearmed,” this stage begins with Rosenberg’s “Surgeon General’s Warning,” which prepares SLDs for the pathological narcissist’s angry and retaliatory reactions to their newfound boundary-setting abilities, the potential for consequences and harm, while accurately predicting the wholescale loss of friends, loved ones, and family members.

One boundary at a time, the SLD begins to insulate and protect themselves, while for the first time, getting a taste of self-love, self-respect, and hope. SLDs are prepared for the “extinction response” or a last-gasp effort to do almost anything to return the SLD back to his/her former trapped relationship role and dysfunctional mental health patterns. Further disconnecting from the narcissist’s gaslighting and system manipulation is discussed. SLDD (codependency) addiction and relapse risks are discussed.

Stage 5 leaves few-to-no pathological narcissists “standing,” except those to whom the SLD has little choice but to remain connected—such as an elderly parent or a husband who controls the finances and/or children. The carefully executed uncoupling of the SLD/narcissist relationship, and the implementation of boundaries and safety measures, ensures the completion of this stage and the reaching of the next.
